Q: What’s the best everyday sunscreen to wear under makeup?

 

 “I love the La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra-Light sunscreen. It’s not overly slippy or greasy feeling, and it’s got just the right amount of luminosity for the humidity, so your skin looks fresh but not shiny. Plus, it doesn’t interfere with the oils or pigments in makeup. There are two formulas—one with a tint, one without. Which one I choose really depends on whether I want a little coverage mixed in with the SPF or not. If I’m going for a run, for example, I skip the tint. But if I’m going out in the morning and I want to even out a little bit of redness, I’ll go for the tint since I don’t wear a ton of makeup in the summer.  On a hot day, I moisturize, then do sunscreen, then maybe add a little bit of bronzer or blush.
