Q: How are the Lip Suede Les Nudes and Les Rouges formulas different?
Two lacquered compacts, four customizable shades to mix and match. The options seem endless—but how do you know which Lip Suede is right for you? "Both our palettes are so wearable and easy to use—it really depends what you're the mood for," says Gucci holding up each little compact. But beyond deciding if you feel like a bold cherry lip or a cool tawny beige in the moment, she adds, the two formulas share a few major differences in the finish, color payoff, and texture.
"The shades in Les Rouges are matte, super pigmented, and perfect for a statement lip, while Les Nudes are sheer and vibrant rather than chalky," says Gucci, who created different base formulas for each color palette. Both are packed with clean, moisture-packed ingredients to suit the matte vs. sheer payoff, like 16.5% cold-pressed cherry oil (Les Rouges) and nourishing jojoba and avocado oils (Les Nudes).
