Ask any It-Brit her fashion destination of choice and chances are she’ll say Alex Eagle Studio. For the past eight years, Eagle, who honed her eye while working at Harper’s Bazaar and Joseph, has been delighting discerning shoppers with her London gallery-inspired space. Inside its cheerful red doors, she stocks an expertly curated mix of luxury cosmetics, hard-to-come-by homeware, and subtly chic sartorial staples, including her own collection of elevated essentials made just floors below.

But retail therapy isn’t all the design aficionado is known for: last spring, Eagle, who is expecting her third child next month, debuted the Sporting Club at 180 The Strand (with another location set to open this spring). “I wanted to create a place where the emphasis was not on burning calories but coming together,” she says. The numerous holistic offerings—IV drips, infrared saunas, Pilates, jujitsu, gardening workshops—are best enjoyed in Eagle’s straight-leg joggers and classic cotton polos, which look (and feel) as good during a workout as they do after it.
